Library Service Desk

Photograph of the Library Service DeskThe Library Service Desk, located on the 2nd floor, is staffed when the Library is open.  Here you can:

  • Check books in and out

  • Pick up and drop off study room keys

  • Borrow books on reserve

  • Check out laptop and phone chargers, as well as "Happy Lamps"

  • Get help!

Study Spaces and Rooms

Every floor of the Goddard Library has study spaces.  The second and third floor are collaborative work areas, while the fourth and fifth floors are for silent study.  

There are a number of rooms that can be booked in advance, and can be used for private study or group work.  The following video will help you navigate this process.

Computers and Printing

On the second floor, there is a color printer and combination black and white printer/scanner.  There are additional black and white printers on the second, third and fifth floors.

Academic Commons

The Academic Commons is located on the first floor of the Goddard Library, and has a number of offices, including the Academic Support Center, the Writing Center, the IT Helpdesk, the Archives and Special Collections, and a cafe!

The Academic Commons is open later hours to give students a space to meet and gather.  Find hours for the Library and Academic Commons here.
