Searching Beyond the Discovery Tool: General Resources

The Discovery Tool on Goddard Library's home page is an excellent resource which searches 90% of the library's holdings. But what about the rest? This guide outlines the databases which are not searched by Discovery.

Navigating this Page

These resources are great for general searches.  Much like the Discovery tool, WorldCat and Google Scholar search a wide range of materials across formats.  If you're looking for an article or a book that Clark might not have, or want a different way to search for articles, these are the right resources to use.

The Dissertations section is slightly different -- it only searches dissertations/theses.  If it is a Clark dissertation/thesis, you can find it in the non-cirulating Special Collections stacks.  If it is not a Clark dissertation, we may not have access to it immediately.

Whether a general database, or a dissertation, if you find a resource Clark doesn't have that you want, send a request through Interlibrary Loan
